Wallace & Gromit, Shaun The Sheep, Morph, Creature Comforts...they all came from Aardman. Since producing their first production in 1976, the award-winning studio has amassed a clutch of Oscars® and nearly a billion dollars at the global box-office. They are the undisputed masters of animation.

As Aardman celebrates its 40th anniversary, Empire Live are honoured to welcome an experienced Aardman model maker for two model making sessions. One session will guide you through the process of making Gromit, the lovable silent dog, and in the second session you will have the chance to make the mischievous farmyard hero, Shaun The Sheep. Suitable for kids and grown-ups alike, all participants will get to take home any models made, with the opportunity to animate them at home. Who knows? You could be the next Nick Park…

This event takes place at 11am-12pm and 12.15-1.15pm on Saturday, 24 September.

Entry to the Empire Hub includes free participation at two Aardman Animations workshops — however, spaces are limited, so get there early to avoid disappointment or book now. We advise customers to arrive 30 minutes before these workshops, where places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis with priority given to ticket package holders.
